XXIII Tbilisi International Book Festival is going to be held in its usual form on 24-27 June. Traditionally, the fair is going to take place in Expo Georgia pavilions. Last year, due to the pandemic, for the first time in its history, the festival was held in an online format. This year, according to the festival’s representatives, organizers have developed safety protocols and carried out additional works to ensure Covid-related regulatory compliance and allow the festival to be held in its traditional format. This year, visitors of the fair will have to preliminarily register on the Tbilisi International Book Festival’s website: www.tbilisibookfestival.ge, indicating the day and the hour of their planned visit. Furthermore, this year customers will be able to purchase books online on the same website at festival prices. 2021 Tbilisi International Book Festival is going to include: presentation of new books; meeting with modern Georgian writers, translators, publishers, literary critics; panel discussions with Georgian and foreign speakers on contemporary literary topics; international conference for publishers on the current processes in the industry; children’s program for different age categories.
