Pokany is a Georgian enterprise creating Cloisonné enamel, ceramics and mosaic. Pokany workshops aim to restore the ancient traditions of Georgian goldsmith and craftsmanship. Pokany studio was established by David Kakabadze.  Apart from enamel, ceramics, and mosaic, the studio produces hand-painted porcelain, jewelry, crockery, bathroom crocks and decorative jars, plates, church wares, adornments, earthenware, vessels, china, and decorative articles. At first, Pokany started to manufacture and produce articles and wares only for churches in 2000. Then, the production line has widened and Pokany has begun to create works of non-religious themes as well. Pokany strives to unite traditional Georgian motives, symbols, and ornaments with modern styles. The ancient traditions of Georgian craftsman and goldsmith are assisted by the latest technologies in gold, silver ware, and fine arts.

Pokany works are distinguished by their quality and uniqueness. No artwork can be similar to Pokany creations as they are produced according to an exclusive design. The creation process of adornments begins with the purification and molding process of silver and gold. After they are given designed shapes, cloisonné enamel, mosaic and precious stones are placed in molded figures. Mosaic works are made of smalt (a blue colored glass, Cobalt glass). The glass is molded on fire and then crushed. Various ornaments are created with the broken parts of the glass that are then glued onto gold and silver figures. Ceramics, porcelain, and glazed faience are brought from Limoges, France. The ready-made figures are painted and fired afterward.
