Georgian wheat granted status of national importance

Georgian wheat has granted a status of national importance. Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze signed the relevant decree.
“Under the paragraph I, Article 18 of the Law of Georgia on Cultural Heritage, the Georgian wheat (endemic species and local varieties) to be defined as the category of the national importance,” the decree reads.
The decree entered into force on March 25.
