Horse ride at “Black Rock Lake” (5 days)

Day 1 – 3: TBILISI – LAGODEKHI: In the morning, departure to Kakhetie in the Lagodekhi Natural Park. Visit of the park museum (20 mn). Departure to the mountains. The tour starts from the administration of Lagodekhi National Park. Visitors will continue on their way to Mito peak, discovering the beautiful landscapes of the Caucasus, the rich fauna and flora of the park: chamois, deer, red deer, brown bears, lynx … The altitude varies between 400 – 3500 m. In the alpine areas you can meet the different glacial lakes. Visitors can rest and picnic in the squares and spend the night in the tents at the weather station.
Day 4:LAGODEKHI: Back. Dinner and overnight at the homestay in Lagodekhi.
Day 5: LAGODEKHI – TBILISIDeparture to Tbilisi passing the city of Sighnaghi. Walk in the city where is the museum containing the paintings of the painter Pirosmani. Recently the city was restored and named as the “city of lovers”. Lunch in the city. Visit the Monastery of Bordbe, where the evangelizer of Georgia, St-Nino, rests. Back to Tbilisi.

Cultural trip in Kakhetie

Day 1: TBILISSI – TELAVI: Departure for Kakheti, region east of the country known for its viticulture and abundance of historical monuments. Visit Tsinandali, princely residence with its park where lived the Georgian poet Chavchavadze. Tasting lunch in the vineyard. Then continue and visit the Alaverdi Cathedral. Walk in the city of Telavie. Dinner and overnight in Telavi.
Day 2: TELAVI – SIGHNAGHI – DAVID GAREJA – TBILISSI: Morning departure and visit the small village of Sighnari where you can admire the beautiful panorama of the Alazani valley. Discovery of the small church of Bodbé, where sits Saint Nino, evangelizer of Georgia in the fourth century. Visit of the museum of the city where are exposed the paintings of Georgian painter Pirosmani. Lunch in the city. Departure to the monastery of VI s. from David-Gareja. Back to Tbilisi.

Hiking in the Caucasus

Day 1: TBILISI – KAZBEGUI: Departure to Khevi region. Stop en route to visit Ananouri, princely fortress of the sixteenth century. Lunch during excursion. Continuation towards Kazbégui, village at the foot of Mount Kazbek, one of the three peaks of the Caucasus Mountains. In the morning – climb to visit the Trinity Church which is 2000 m. at the foot of Mount Kazbek. (Walking tour – 2h al / rt,). Lunch in the local family. Night and dinner in Kazbegui
Day 2: KAZBGUI – TBILISIMorning hike to the Gvelethi waterfall. Afternoon discover the Trusso valley with mineral waters and lake, medieval villages abandoned and especially surprising nature of the Caucasus. Picnic during hiking. Back, night and dinner in Kazbegui. Opportunity to do the master class culinary.

Visit the small church of the Cross (Djvari) and the old capital of the country with the majestic Svetitskhoveli Cathedral built in the 11th century. Continuation to the city Gori, hometown of Stalin. Possibility to visit the birthplace converted into a museum and its armored car (on request). Lunch during excursion. Then visit the troglodyte city of Ouplistsikhe (1st century), former merchant city. Back to Tbilisi.

Day 1: TBILISSI – GORI – KOUTAISSI: Morning departure to Kutaisi. Visit Georgia where you will discover Gori, hometown of Stalin. Possibility to visit the birthplace converted into a museum and its armored car (on request). Lunch during excursion Then visit the troglodyte city of Ouplistsikhe (1st century), former merchant city. Arrival, dinner and overnight in Kutaisi.
Day 2: KUTAISSI – NIKORTSMINDA – KOUTAISSI: Morning drive to discover the mountainous Ratcha region. Picnic lunch on the road. Departure for the mountainous region of Ratcha Visit the Nikortsminda church, rich in frescoes and fascinating ornaments of the vine and grapes. Back to Kutaisi. Dinner and overnight in Kutaisi.
Day 3: KOUTAISSI – GHELATI – ZUGDIDI – MESTIA: Morning visit of monastery of XI s. on the road visit the monastic complex of Guelati recognized by UNESCO, built by King David the Builder in the twelfth century and was considered for a long time as the intellectual center of the kingdom. It houses the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin whose apse is decorated with a rare Byzantine mosaic of the twelfth century and frescoes of the sixteenth century.
