Mtatsminda Park – Without a doubt the most exciting place for kids of any age: Mtatsminda Park previously known as Bombora Park is located on the hill of Mount Mtatsminda overlooking the Georgian capital Tbilisi. It is one of the most fascinating family-friendly destinations. It offers different types of rides from the extreme to Kids Zone, an arcade and a large Ferries Wheel that overlooks the beautiful city of Tbilisi. From time to time the park also hosts events such as the Ice Cream Festival which will be held on the 15th of July this year in the main square of Mtatsminda Park. Your kids are bound to have a great time. To get there, the easiest way is to take the Funicular railway. At the entrance you can buy a plastic card which can be used for both the ride on the Funicular and entrance to almost all rides in the park.
East Point – One of the largest shopping malls in Tbilisi: East Point offers a variety of family-friendly activities. You can visit the cinema, go bowling, or take a trip to “Focus Mocus” an entertainment center that offers a climbing wall, labyrinth, food court and much more exciting adventures. Gino Paradise – What’s the best way to spend a hot summer day while in Tbilisi? By visiting Gino Paradise. Gino Paradise is an aqua park located on Beshenova Street. The aqua park offers a variety of pools, water rides, underwater bars and a lot more. It’s a great place to spend a day with kids, tanning, relaxing and having fun on the rides. The place also offers a spa, fitness center, restaurants, bars and a hotel.
The Bridge of Peace – The Bridge of Peace was opened in 2010 and is the most famous tourist destination in the city. The bridge connects Tbilisi’s old town with Rike Park. During the night a lot of people gather around to watch concerts and live music, take a stroll around the bridge and enjoy the beautiful view. Nowhere else will you be able to see such an astonishing view of modern life mixed with historical architecture.
Turtle Lake – Turtle Lake is located near the Vake District of Tbilisi. A great way to cool down on hot day in Tbilisi is by visiting the Turtle Lake (or Kus Tba in Georgian) Being just up from Vake Park, it’s relatively easy to get there. The place offers a variety of cafes and restaurants where you can try some of the famous Georgian dishes. You and your kids can also go swimming.
